Your Role with The Company:
– Developing and implementing procedures aligned with ISO standards and continuous improvement.
– Leading internal and external quality audits.
– Implementing safety, quality, and delivery improvements.
– Mentoring employees in the quality department by sharing technical expertise and providing feedback and guidance.
– Creating the process flow diagrams, PFMEAs, and Control Plans as required for PPAP documentation.
– Identifying and addressing quality issues, and recommending corrective actions.
– Managing containment of quality escapes, ensuring customer satisfaction.
– Working with production to troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions.
– Partnering with sales and production to meet customer requirements.
– This position reports to the President and will interact with many functions of the company so your success will be recognized!

Background Profile:
– Quality Engineering or Quality Management experience in manufacturing
– Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management systems
– Demonstrated experience manufacturing parts to precise specifications and a strong understanding of tolerance stacking for +/- 0.030 tolerances
– Leadership and/or mentoring experience
– Good communication skills and ability to present to leadership, customers, and suppliers
– Strong continuous improvement and organizational skills
– Knowledge of CMM
– Experience in metal fabrication ideal, but not required
