Your Role with The Company:
– be a champion for quality, leading process improvement initiatives and ensuring consistent production of top-quality parts.
– Leverage your expertise in Lean methodologies and quality tools to identify areas for improvement, streamline processes, and minimize waste.
– Helping to sustain the improvements by embedding proper control measures and metrics and developing process owner accountability.
– Ensuring quality parts are consistently produced, with minimal scrap
– Performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions when problems occur.
– This position reports to the Director of Operations and will interact with many departments so your success will be recognized!

Background Profile:
– At least 3 years in quality engineering, continuous improvement, or manufacturing engineering.
– Experience in a machining environment is required.
– Proven track record of utilizing Lean and Continuous Improvement methods to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
– Experience with tools such as Value Stream Mapping, Pareto Analysis, Spaghetti Diagrams, and FMEA.
– Quality background – experience with PPAP, First article, Capability Studies, CAPA.
– Ability to multi-task and problem-solve in a time-sensitive environment.
– Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to work effectively across departments.
– Hands-on mentality with a strong commitment to teamwork.
– Bachelor’s Degree preferred, equivalent experience will be considered
