Your Role with The Company:
– As Operations Manager, you will be the strategic and hands-on leader driving daily operations across this high-performing fabrication facility.
– You’ll oversee production, quality, maintenance, and scheduling, working directly with the President and department heads to ensure efficient, safe, and timely delivery of complex engineered projects.
– You’ll drive continuous improvement, develop performance KPIs, guide a team of direct reports, and be a key influencer in future growth initiatives and equipment investments.
– Your leadership will directly shape team culture and operational outcomes, and your success will be seen and celebrated!
– This position reports directly to the President, with cross-functional influence across production, quality, maintenance, engineering, and shipping.
Background Profile:
– 5-7+ years in operations leadership within metal fabrication, machining, or similar engineered-to-order manufacturing
– Demonstrated experience leading teams of 50+ employees
– Strong familiarity with CNC machining, welding, laser cutting, and shop scheduling
– Proven success setting KPIs and SOPs to improve quality, delivery, and productivity
– Exposure to Lean manufacturing principles and ideally EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System)
– Hands-on experience with ERP/MRP systems and production planning tools
– Bachelor’s degree preferred; relevant experience also valued
