Your Role with the Company:
- Responsible for creating, implementing, and auditing procedures and equipment used in the manufacturing processes.
- Work with departments across the organization, including Manufacturing, Quality, Design Engineering, and Purchasing, to ensure efficiency and continuous improvement.
- Supporting manufacturing through day-to-day problem-solving
- Creating and updating standard operating procedures for manufacturing processes
- Evaluating and documenting manufacturing processes and maintaining accurate documentation
- Ensuring product and process quality by designing testing methods, establishing standards, and confirming engineering specifications
- Analyzing and preparing manufacturing data (direct labor hours, material costs, production scheduling) and making recommendations for improvement
- Implementing cost-saving and quality-improvement projects
- Evaluating capital investment opportunities and assisting in the implementation of new equipment
Background Profile:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field, or 2-4 years of relevant experience (preferred)
- Proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD design software
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and technical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to work independently or as part of a team without supervision
- Experience with fabrication and assembly processes
- A solid mechanical or electrical aptitude
- Working knowledge of basic automotive systems
- Demonstrated success in implementing Continuous Improvement projects
