Your Role with The Company:
– Focus heavily on process improvements to increase efficiencies and reduce waste on the manufacturing floor.
– Work closely with product development on design for manufacturability of new and existing products and development and documentation of processes
– Lead problem-solving processes throughout the plant to identify root causes and implement preventative and corrective actions.
– Perform time studies to ensure accurate time standards and product costing

Background Profile:
– 5+ years of experience in a Manufacturing Engineering role in a low volume/high mix manufacturing environment
– Knowledge of and experience with Lean, Six Sigma, and other Continuous Improvement methodologies
– Proven track record of implementing process and productivity improvements
– Familiarity with aluminum and steel fabrication and assembly processes
– Willingness to /familiarity with living in a rural community
– Competency with Solid Works CAD software preferred
