Your Role with the Company:

• Design and specify electrical components for custom fire apparatus
• Utilize AutoCAD and SolidWorks for electrical schematics and 3D designs
• Support manufacturing and sales teams with technical expertise during the design, production, and troubleshooting phases
• Ensure electrical designs meet all safety, quality, and functionality standards
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with electrical systems, including using Cummins Engine Diagnostics and Parker IQAN software
• Work with CAN bus-based and multiplexed vehicle systems to ensure reliability and performance
• Stay current on electrical technology and trends to improve product designs and systems

Background Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or 5-7 years of relevant experience
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks design software
• Experience with Parker IQAN mobile controller software and Cummins Engine Diagnostics is a plus
• Solid understanding of electrical principles and vehicle systems
• Experience in a custom-engineered product environment is highly desirable
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and take ownership of projects
