Your Role with The Company:
– Maintaining production schedules and managing welding, fabrication and machine shop employees
– Working closely with Quality Assurance department to ensure products are fabricated to company standards
– Coaching and mentoring the team, ensuring they have the tools to meet daily, weekly and monthly KPI’s
– Handle unusual or difficult inquires/situations through direct personal action or defer to the appropriate individual as needed
– Coordinating the recruitment, hiring, orientation, training and testing of new employees for the department
– This position reports to the Vice President of Operations and will interact with many functions of the company so your success will be recognized!

Background Profile:
– 5+ years of Production leadership experience with direct reports including training, performance reviews and corrective action
– Must have experience with machining and welding
– Experience with other fabrication processes such as forming, bending, punching etc. preferred
– Strong problem solving ability- can process, evaluate, and make decisions
– Highly analytical and KPI driven
– Passion for continuous improvement with proven ability to reduce waste and increase efficiencies on the production floor
– Bachelor Degree required
