Controller–Manufacturing
Looking for a great opportunity to apply your accounting skills and human resources knowledge for a growing manufacturing company near Minneapolis, MN?  Our client is an industry leader who supplies to demanding customers and needs an experienced Financial Leader to join their team!
JOB DESCRIPTION
This position reports to the Owner/President and will provide you with the responsibilities of:
• Managing all aspects of the company finances including payroll and benefits
• Ensuring the General Ledger is reconciled with AP and AR monthly
• Preparing Monthly P&L statements for the Executive team
• Monitoring inventory levels including excess and obsolete
• Performing financial reports for taxes, invoicing, payroll, medical claims and ensuring variances are accounted for
• Implementing financial systems and processes to continually improve the efficiency and flow of the financial data
• Establishing a link between ERP and product cost and implementing processes for consistent product line cost reporting
JOB REQUIREMENTS
An excellent candidate will have the following skills and qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent experience
• A minimum of five years’ experience in accounting/finance/HR in a manufacturing environment
• A “continual improvement” philosophy with a track record of leading and supporting multiple different projects at one time
• Working knowledge of ERP systems, Job Boss Preferred
• Strong MS Excel user
• Excellent communication and written skills, strong attention to detail
