in developing conveyor systems, palletizers, casers, stackers and custom
material handling equipment. They take

Buyer to join the team!
This position will provide you with the responsibilities of:
Evaluating material needs for ordering and partnering
with production and inventory control to acquire materials without incurring
excessive inventory or freight charges
Purchasing goods, materials and processing
purchase orders within approved limits following standard purchasing practices,
ensuring on-time delivery.
Establishing and maintaining min and max
inventory levels on purchased parts.
Working with engineering and strategic buyers to
facilitate communications with suppliers about new products and services.
Collaborating with suppliers to expedite
delivery, resolve quality problems and resolve invoice discrepancies.
Utilizing ERP manufacturing system to accomplish
An excellent candidate will have the following skills and
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Associates
in Manufacturing Technology
Minimum of 3 years’ experience purchasing in a
sheet metal fabrication and assembly environment
Knowledge of raw materials and power
transmission, pneumatics, hydraulics and electrical components
Proven ability to get the best balance of cost,
quality and delivery
Proficiency with “class A” ERP systems, EPICOR
Ability to analyze and utilize data to make
