Quality Manager – Metal Fabrication
Looking for a great opportunity to apply your quality management experience with a growing manufacturer in Southeastern Minnesota?  Our client an industry leading company selling metal fabricated structures into the agriculture and heavy off-road industry and their business in booming!  We’re looking for a Quality Manager to transition ownership of Quality through the organization.
This position reports to the Vice President of Operations, and will provide you with the responsibilities of:
• Maintaining, refining and enhancing the current quality system and processes
• Providing quality performance data to shop floor and senior management – proactively using the data to partner with other functions to drive the continual improvement efforts
• Developing a strategic quality improvement plan and engaging all employees in quality improvement activities
• Ensuring the ISO system is updated and being the “go to” person for any audits
• Presenting quality updates to key customers
• Leading and prioritizing the work of the quality department
• Working with world-class customers to ensure quality systems mesh
• Managing the ISO quality system to ensure compliance through procedure updates, auditing and training
• Driving the corrective action process to ensure the short term issue is fixed and also drive long term systemic improvement – holding people accountable
• Overseeing day-to-day quality issues taking the appropriate corrective actions
An excellent candidate will have the following skills and qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience desired
• Minimum of 5 years Quality Experience in a Metal Fabrication Manufacturing environment
• Knowledge/Experience with Managing ISO Quality Systems
• Ability to transition ownership of Quality to all functions including Operations, Engineering & Manufacturing at the shop floor level
• Working knowledge and experience with analyzing quality data to communicate the issues and  develop/execute the systemic improvement plans to remove/prevent future occurrences
• Ability to interact with customers and build positive company reputation
• Leadership Experience
• Continuous improvement/Lean/Six Sigma experience
